Namobuddha Pulchowki Trek is named after the Namobuddha stupa, one of the holiest pilgrimage sites for Buddhists in Nepal and Phulchowki (2782m), the highest hill around Kathmandu Valley. Namo Buddha Pulchowki Trek is a unique combination of hill hiking, religious and natural charm and Himalayan spectacle.

Visit a shrine in Namo Buddha dedicated to Buddha who sacrificed himself to feed a hungry tigress and her cubs. The hill of Namo Buddha overlooks the picturesque and historical town of Panauti. A hike to Pulchowki will be a natural treat. Over 100 species of birds such as Besra, Black Eagle, Mountain Hawk-Eagle, Kalij Pheasant, Common Hill Partridge, Ashy Woodpigeon, Wedge-tailed Green Pigeon, Mountain Scops Owl, Collared Owlet, Golden-throated Barbet, Speckled Piculet, Crimson-breasted Pied and Rufous-bellied Pied Woodpeckers, Eurasian and Lancelated Jays, Red-billed Blue Magpie and Brown Bullfinch could be seen on this trek.
